Rick Bacon’s Customs & Collision is your trusted destination for collision repair, custom paintwork, and full-service autobody restoration—from everyday vehicles to frame-off classics. Founded by Sonora High School alumnus Rick Bacon (Class of ’86), our legacy began in 1997 with The Body Shop for You on Tuolumne Road.
With decades of hands-on experience and a passion for perfection, Rick has mastered the art of autobody craftsmanship. He’s also a former host of several Spike TV shows, most notably MuscleCar, a nationally televised program that reached over a million viewers weekly. Rick was also on OverHaulin' with Chip Foose as a member of the A Team.
We welcome all insurance and private-pay jobs and work on cars, vans, trucks, boats, and motorcycles. Whether you’re a soccer mom, busy commuter, or weekend cruiser, we’ll get your family vehicle safely back on the road.
Rick remains actively involved in his community and local charities. We understand that accidents happen—even to the most careful drivers—which is why we’re here to make the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
